The Conservatory of Central Illinois is the only not-for-profit community music school serving downstate Illinois. Located in downtown Champaign, The Conservatory opened its doors for instruction in August 1986. In the time since its founding, The Conservatory has taken its place as a leading cultural institution contributing to the quality of life in Champaign-Urbana.

 Orchestra Auditions

Auditions for the East Central Illinois Youth Orchestra string players will be held on Thursday May 16 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday May 18 from 1:30 to 6:00 p.m. Auditions for winds, brass and percussion players will be help on Friday, May 24 from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday May 25 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Please call the Conservatory at 356-9812 or email the Conservatory to reserve your audition time now!

 Suzuki-Rolland Strings Spring Concert

The Spring Concert of the Suzuki-Rolland Strings program will be held on Sunday, May 19, 2013 at 1:15 p.m. The concert is held in the Music Building Auditorium. Please call the Conservatory at 356-9812 for more information.
